Started playing with Linux in 1995 at the Technical University Vienna, later continued Linux exploration into clusters and nice architectures like Alpha at the University of Vienna. Joined FSMLabs, New Mexico in 2000 and worked on RTLinux until they went proprietary - continued with RTLinux/GPL for a few more years.
Joined Lanzhou University, China, in 2004, Founded DSLab at Lanzhou University in 2005 and have since been teaching real-time and embedded systems. Focus on safety related systems since 2007 when the Safety Critical Linux Working Group of OSADL was started.
