Intel's Open Source Technology Center
Interaction designer
I have been an interaction designer since 2007 and joined the Open Source Technology Center at Intel in 2011. In January 2013 I became "the designer" of the Yocto Project (I am the only one), where I help develop graphical user interfaces for the project's embedded Linux tools. I am partly to blame for things like Hob (https://www.yoctoproject.org/documentation/hob-manual), Toaster (https://www.yoctoproject.org/toaster/) and the OpenEmbedded Metadata Index (http://layers.openembedded.org/). I have been an active speaker in the design community since 2009, at conferences like EuroIA, the IA Summit, UXLX, South By Southwest Interactive, Breaking Development and UX Spain. Lately, I've been sneaking design content into the Embedded Linux conferences.
